First and most importantly, pointebreak.tv is the student community of LakePointe Church. LakePointe exists to take the Word of God out to a skeptical generation. pointebreak.tv is part of LakePointe’s commitment to do just that.
Our pointebreak.tv community exists of students from 7th grade through college. We meet every Wednesday night at LakePointe in the auditorium at 7:00 p.m.
These are some things that if you hang around long enough, you'll see that we're about. You'll hear these values talked about quite a bit. We're not weird about them, but we believe that they are our reason for existing as a student community.
1. “A Better Way to Do Life”
We’re seeking a better, more-fulfilling way to do life. We have three basic emotional needs: purpose, an identity, and hope. Our purpose at pointebreak.tv is to, as a community, examine and discover options in living a life where God fills in these blanks in a much fuller and whole way than anything else.
2. "Me too"
Regardless of who you are, where you come from, what issues, problems, addictions, compulsions, whatever you have, we welcome you! The truth is: We also have issues, problems, addictions, compulsions, a past, etc. Our hope is that in building a community and together growing to know God and experience His grace, we can be freed of the guilt, the shame, the doubts, the depression caused by the negative aspects of our lives and no longer be held hostage by who we were and what we’ve done. You are definitely NOT ALONE!
3. “Bump into Jesus”
At pointebreak.tv, we purposefully create an environment for you to come and simply ‘be’. Our hopes are not to proselytize you, sell something to you, or fear you into making major life decisions, or morph into an image we feel you need to portray. We simply want to create a safe community for you to seek, to ask questions, and to forum and discuss questions about God, Jesus, life, death, love, war, or other important topics. Our hope is that through discussions and relationships that happen within the community, we may all grow together in our love for one another as well as bump into and build a personal, two-way relationship and community with a seemingly (but actually not!) distant God.
4. "Flava"
At pointebreak.tv, we will be diverse. We will have people from all different backgrounds, races, and histories to come and realize a better way to do life together.

At LakePointe children matter! We care about them and want to help them grow in faith and become Christ-followers. In Matthew 19:14 Jesus says not to keep the little ones from coming to Him but to bring them to Him-- the Kingdom of God belongs to these little ones, too! We believe that and want to help parents teach their children about the love of Jesus. KidsPointe takes the matter of guiding and caring for your children seriously. All of our volunteers are screened with background checks and are trained in their areas. Keep reading to find out more about KidsPointe Children's Ministry at LakePointe!

Rockin' WakeZone
The Rockin' WakeZone is an amazingly energetic place for kids in Kindergarten thru 5th grade to gather each Sunday and learn truth straight from the Bible! The excitement begins with a Kidmo video-driven lesson and a live Emcee...group games and contests...and MemoryMax strategies to make Bible memory a fun challenge! Small groups follow to dig deeper into the Bible and connect with leaders and friends. It's the place for elementary kids to be!
WatersEdge
WatersEdge is a colorful, fun-filled place for preschoolers ages three to five years old. VeggieTales characters liven up Bible stories, crafts, games, puppet shows, music, snacks...so much for a preschooler to enjoy! Children learn who God is and how much He loves each of us as they connect to Him through Jesus. They won't want to leave!
The Pond
Polliwog Pond is our Nursery where infants and toddlers through age 2 years are cared for by experienced, loving caregivers. At LakePointe we want you to feel comfortable leaving your child in our care so that you can focus on worship. Toddlers enjoy music, simple coloring & crafts, and play, and infants are provided with the special care they need.
Grapple
Kids in 4th through 6th grade are facing challenges all their own, and Sundays at LakePointe provide a safe place to grapple with these issues and learn what the Bible says about real life. Praise and worship, small group discussions, fast-moving games, and a secured website all their own for weekly follow-up make this the place to be when learning what a relationship with God through Jesus Christ is all about.
